Sight lines, informality, and most of all programming, first rate. More dance parties and Robert Browning programs would be better still.
Very cool auditorium tucked away in Brooklyn that hosts unique musical and arty events. This was for the Thomaz Stanko Memorial. Super sound, great playing and a location worth watching.
Extremely easy to get to. Best musicians in the city, excellent curation. Good place to see contemporary music and dance. They have an awesome YouTube Channel as well.
The hall is small and intimate. It gave the audience the perfect view of the stage regardless of where you were standing. The staff were very, very friendly and well mannered. They made everyone feel welcomed without being awkward. The staff made sure that everyone's safety was considered while not imposing their will onto everyone.
The pictures included in this review are from the VANNER (kpop group) concert held on January 19, 2020. Everything was well organized from moment fans entered till it was time for everyone to leave including the group performing. The staff allowed the fans and artist to acrually form mini bonds with each other unlike other venues. While everything was on a time schedule, no one was rushed or made ro feel uncomfortable. The staff calmly and kindly explained rules and all other important info in a way that was more friendly than pure professional and cold. All in all, I will definitely attend more concerts here.

Went to see Claire Chase, Susie Ibarra and Alex Peh, who brought in Kyaw Kyaw Naing... Wow, what a show! Very nice looking venue, great lighting and sound, and interesting lineup of shows. It can get pretty warm in there, even in mid-March. We had a fantastic time!
I feel as though I have discovered a rare jewel and am hesitant to talk about it for fear of spoiling the magic. Roulette is such an intimate concert setting, the acoustics spot-on, the staff efficient and kind, and the experience unforgettable. Bravo!

Nice, mid-size concert venue with a consistently interesting program throughout the year. I saw the Gamelan Kusuma Laras perform here and the acoustics were decent, without any amplification needed.
